Pastor Phil's Fabulous Fish Fry
Come one, come all! It's that time again for our annual all-church fish fry. We ask you to bring a well-filled basket of food to share at this pitch-in meal, which will begin right after the morning worship service on Sunday, November 16th. This is a great time to bring family, friends, and neighbors to church with you. If you’re willing to help with frying fish, please contact Pastor Phil.
Rehearsals for Worship Ensemble will resume this Wednesday, November 5th. Anyone who likes to sing is encouraged to join. Rehearsals will be held weekly on Wednesdays in the Music Room, beginning at 6:30pm. Contact Pastor Sherry for more information.
We are excited to host Adam's Voice, The Nelons, and Michael English in concert on Saturday evening, November 22nd. In order to help facilitate a smooth flow of events that evening, we are looking for approximately 25 people with WARM, SMILING FACES to help by serving as ushers, greeters, product table workers, or parking lot attendants. Helpers should arrive at the church by 4:00PM on that Saturday. If you are willing to help, or would like more information, please contact Pastor Sherry or the church office.
Sunday , November 23rd at 6:00pm is the time. Tri-County Christian Church in Middletown is the place. Bring your family to the combined Shenandoah Community Thanksgiving Service for an evening of grateful worship. Rev. Dan Clock, from the Middletown Community Church, will be the speaker for this special service.
The music and ministry of Soul’d Out Quartet will be one of the special features of our worship service on Sunday morning, November 23rd. Don't miss it!
Hey Teens! If you are interested in learning more about the Word of God, Bible quizzing might be just for you. This year we will study the Book of Acts. Joining the quiz team is a fun way to learn God's Word, make new friends here at home and on the NEI district, and have a little competition. MCON quizzing practices are held every Tuesday beginning at 6:00PM. District quiz competitions are held monthly at various churches in north-eastern Indiana.
Cove hours on Tuesday and Thursday will be 3:00-6:00PM each week. On Wednesday, the Cove will be open from 3:00PM until approximately 9:00PM when the Water's Edge ministries conclude. Help us spread the word! This is a great place to meet with friends, play games, do homework, and enjoy relaxing together.
"The Tent" is an intentionally Christ-centered Community of Young Adults, transforming their lives through the call to community, discipleship, and commission.
