"The Tent" is an intentionally Christ-centered Community of Young Adults, transforming their lives through the call to community, discipleship, and commission. Young Adults will meet for service every Friday night at 7p.m. at Middletown Church of the Nazarene. For further information visit thetentonline.com or contact Christen Sanders.
We are pleased to host Adam’s Road in our worship service on Sunday, July 27th. Despite being a band, they are first and foremost a ministry. Through song and testimony, they will preach the Gospel of Jesus Christ as outlined in the New testament. Each member of Adam’s road has a unique testimony of being brought out of the bondage of religion (all were formerly Mormons) and into the freedom of Christ's grace. Their songs (all are original) teach biblical concepts and are designed to strengthen the Body of Christ bringing us to a greater knowledge of Jesus Christ as Lord. This will be a very unique presentation of music and the Word—and you don’t want to miss it!!
For those who participated in the March 2014 Encounter God Retreat, you are invited to special time of fellowship on Saturday, 8/2. Bring a light refreshment to share and come prepared to be inspired and encouraged. Meet in the fireplace room at 7:00 PM.
Encounter God Retreat
We're gearing up for another great weekend of spiritual growth and encountering God. The dates are Friday-Saturday, August 22-23. The Pre-Encounter event will also be held on Sunday evening, August 17. If you are one of the almost 50 people who participated in our last Encounter God Retreat, you already know just how valuable this can be for anyone seeking to draw closer to God. Spread the word! It's too good to miss!
Beginning on Wednesday, August 6th, Worship Choir rehearsals will resume in the choir room at 6:30pm. This group is made up of any person—women or men—who like to sing and want to use their vocal talent to bring glory to God. We’ll sing new songs-and old fa-vorites, too. The rehearsal will last about 75 minutes and will include a devotional time of the Word, testimony, and prayer. Come be a part as we “make music to the Lord...with the sound of singing.” (Psalm 98:5)
Beth Moore Simulcast September 13th
This year Beth Moore will be in Ft. Wayne on Sept. 13, 2014 and a group of our ladies are planning on attending. The cost for early bird registration is $59 if bought by May 13th. When registering you will be asked if you would like to purchase a lunch for $10 and that is completely optional. The hotels around the area are filling up quickly so if you would like to get a team together to attend on that Saturday or if there is interest in riding up that morning, please make that known so we can get people together to ride together. For more information contact Karen Michael or church office.
*Ladies planning on going to the Beth Moore event in September please notify the church office. We have some ladies interested in sharing rooms on the Friday night before.
