Wednesday Night Nursery and Pre-K volunteers! MOPS (Mothers of Preschoolers) are gathering on Wednesday Nights and we are in need of a full rotation of Nursery and Pre-K volunteers and ministry leaders. Contact Pastor Matt for more info.

Adam's Voice

Next Sunday, 11/29, we'll kick off our Advent celebration with special musicians, David and Charlene Adam's of "Adam's Voice". You'll be challenged and uplifted by the music of this uniquely gifted family. Pastor Phil will also begin a brand new Advent sermon series next Sunday. This is a great opportunity to invite family and friends to church with you. Don't miss it!

Save the Date

Children's Christmas Musical will be December 6th.

MOPS Holiday Craft Bazaar

Our MOPS small group is hosting a holiday craft bazaar and chili fundraiser on Saturday, Dec. 5 from 10am-3pm here at MCON. All are invited to attend and support a growing ministry to young moms, kids, and families! See Terri Gift for Vendor booth applications and more information.

Let's Get Together

Let's get together for a time of fellowship while eating together on December 6th after the morning service! This will be "pitch-in" style with pulled pork and turkey salad sandwiches provided for the main dish! You bring the side dish (or two!). We will also get into the holiday spirit with a cookie exchange! Bake a couple of dozens of your favorite home-made cookies and plan to share, then take home a variety pack of your own from what others make! Label your cookies if possible! Please sign up if you plan on coming so we can plan enough meat! Plan to encourage one family to come with (either church or unchurched friends) to make a "reach-out" and "reach-in" event! Please sign your guest registers if you plan to attend.

Young at Heart Excursion

Our group will travel to a special candle shop and restaurant in Centerville, Indiana, on Monday, November 9. We will leave the church at 9:00am on our church bus, shop at your leisure, eat at your convenience, and return about 1:00pm. A sign-up sheet will be provided so we can know how many are going. Tari Worrell will lead the group.

Breath of Heaven

Sunday, December 13, is the date of our worship choir Christmas program, Breath of Heaven. Anyone interested in participating with this special presentation is encouraged to come to rehearsals on Wednesday evenings at 6-8PM in the choir room.

Minister to our Youngest Worshippers

Our nursery ministry area is growing! We are in need of additional workers for both Sunday mornings and Wednesday nights during MOPS (small group for moms!) Contact Rachel Gargiulo, our Nursery Coordinator, at the Mid-Town Kids Jr. Desk in the foyer.

MCON is proud to announce a new opportunity for moms in our church and community to connect and grow together through the MOPS (Mothers of Preschoolers) program. Our group will be taking place on Wednesday nights from 6-8PM.

Cove hours on Tuesday and Thursday will be 3:00-6:00PM each week. On Wednesday, the Cove will be open from 3:00PM until approximately 9:00PM when the Water's Edge ministries conclude. Help us spread the word! This is a great place to meet with friends, play games, do homework, and enjoy relaxing together.
